IF GOD IS EVERYWHERE THEN HOW CAN SIN WHICH EXCLUDES HIM BE REAL?

If God is everywhere then how can sin be the exclusion of God? You supposedly make God absent by your sin. This does not seem coherent. Christians say that you don’t literally make God absent but in your head you are trying to and telling yourself you are keeping him out.

So you are called deluded? This would be delusion in the medical sense not just spiritual. The alterative that you have glasses and are not putting them on does not hold. It is deeper than that. And besides if you are deluded, you will not realise until others show you that you have to be. And we know that it is hard for them to succeed.

And if you feel forced by God, if he pushes his presence on you, that is not going to help. Religion may say God does not push his presence for he is present and that is that and we have to accept that. It will say that you need air to live and that does not mean it is pushed on you. Then it contradicts this by saying that God is an active presence not just one that is there.

By the way just because we want air and use it that does not give us the right to claim that it is not forced on us. It is.

Here are the results of saying that sin excludes God –

Denial that God is bigger than our mistakes so it does not really matter

Denial that God is always bringing good out of evil in ways we may not notice or see - in other words "Become unduly lenient and soft and thus encourage the wicked"!

You are made to doubt your sanity and thus you will be left wide open to being manipulated

You are told that even if you reject God nothing happens and he still gets in for in him you live and move and have your being

If you cannot get your eye to focus on sin how can you clearly see what the solutions are?

All of this shows that if sin is evil, then people are using another kind of evil to address it in you. No matter what steps you take to persuade yourself that your sin is real, your brain will tell you it is not. It is notable how Christianity spends a lot of time adminstering empty rites to fix sin. It says prayers that do largely nothing at best. It preaches. This is consistent with a faith that feigns taking sin seriously. Also, be aware that religion does not accept that harm and sin are necessarily the same. For example, Jesus supposedly did the right thing freely dying for sinners so he self-harmed for our sins!

In practice this God who is in all and alongside all gives you a religion that ignores some bad behaviours in people and attacks others. Human nature when it takes a dislike to your behaviour will act and it is not worried that the behaviour is bad. What matters is that it does not like it and uses its badness as an excuse for punishing or avenging. To be just and put John in jail is vengeance for what about Jeremy, Jane and Charles?

Finally if God himself cannot give you clear detectors for evil then what use is he? If you invent a God in order to tell yourself that he clearly states what is right and what is wrong what use is that? You still don't know anything. You are using him like a thing. Suppose you think sins are only mistakes or mostly mistakes. Thus if there is a God who is bigger than your mistakes that means the bigger the mistake the more he is of use so why care if anybody believes or not?
